Hide no seek.

Quick hide behind the curtain
its the perfect spot of which I'm certain.

Time elapsed, just watching what they do
stick out a foot, a little clue
but no eyes seem to recognise the shape of the shoe.

Spent hours with the constant view
of a picture that looks the same
with or without you.

Now there's somewhat of a choice
appear with open arms to try to salvage what remains
or hide with a smile and an enlightened voice
that says, your not the same and there's no shame.
